La Tania
Discreet village of the 3 Valleys in its forest

La Tania ski area

An integral part of the Courchevel valley, La Tania benefits from a particularly preserved slope in the heart of a splendid primary forest.

The slopes are long, varied and despite the relatively modest altitude of the resort, the snow cover is very good thanks to a full northern exposure and the omnipresence of the forest.

The slopes are more spaced out than in the rest of the ski area, the ski lifts are less visible and the landscape is sumptuous.

Many off-piste routes in the trees with the scent of adventure are quickly accessible. Many of them remain fairly safe (there is no such thing as zero risk), even in the event of a significant avalanche risk as long as you stay in the heart of the forest .

It is the sector of the 3 Valleys the most sheltered from the wind. Visibility is better there than elsewhere in bad weather.

With a drop of almost 1,000 meters, La Tania offers forest skiing of rare quality with vegetation that varies according to altitude. Pictured here is a rare (and very protected) Arolles forest.

The village of La Tania

Built for the 1992 Olympics, La Tania is a modern and functional resort.

Nestled in the heart of its beautiful forest, it is a small "ski in" family resort. All the shops are gathered in the pedestrian center on the snow front. The organization of your vacation is greatly simplified.

Despite the presence of important buildings in the center of the village, La Tania fits in rather well with its environment thanks to a studied architecture, careful maintenance and the omnipresence of the forest.

A very quiet area of the village, exclusively made up of chalets, continues to develop.

Departure point for the main ski lifts to access the ski area. These are:
- The Jardin Alpin gondola lift, which provides access to the resort's main green slopes.
- The Verdons gondola lift, which takes you to the La Saulire high-altitude ski area.
- The Chenus chairlift, which connects you to the Le Praz, La Tania, and Méribel ski areas.

Supervised by a private ski instructor, whether in alpine skiing or ski touring, the green slopes of Courchevel, directly accessible from the top of the Jardin Alpin cable car, allow for safe and confident learning.
